The All In Movement is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization launched in 2013 with a mission to reignite and refresh the heart of the American Church to live “all in” for Jesus Christ.
We are a multi-dimensional ministry focused on stirring the hearts of American Christians to live their purpose by providing them opportunities to make a difference in the world for Christ. It’s time to be All In!
During a restless night on June 29, 2012, our founder Michael Phillips began to pray about how to use his finances, but God’s answer was not what Michael expected. The Lord rebuked Michael, letting him know that although he was tithing, giving above his tithe, serving in church, and loved the Lord, he wasn’t “all in”. The Lord revealed that there was one area of his life that Michael wasn’t completely trusting the Lord with and that he couldn’t live the life he was born to live until he did. The Lord said, “You are trusting in the provision I’ve given you instead of in me as your provider. You aren’t all in. There are millions of others just like you in America and I want you to do something about it.”
The next day God had Michael give his truck to a stranger in a donut store parking lot…and so it began.
The All In Movement was launched in 2013 with a mission to reignite and refresh the heart of the American Church to live “all in” for Jesus Christ. Simply put, it’s time for Christians to awaken from their apathy and begin to bear fruit for God daily in the world.
2013-2014: Brand| Message| Approach – We performed a soft-launch in Q2 of 2013 and worked throughout 2013 and 2014 to test and refine our message and approach to accomplishing our mission. The majority of 2014 was spent sharing that message and building partnerships with churches, youth-groups, schools, and other ministries. We identified an opportunity to use mobile technology to deliver our message to the church on a day-to-day basis and began working to identify a catalytic event to attract people to the platform we were building.
2015: #DoGoodFriday – Approximately 4000 churches across America participated in national day of service co-chaired by All In President Michael Phillips and Gov. Mike Huckabee. This resulted in acts of kindness being performed across the country on Good Friday 2015 and launched v1 of our mobile app platform.
Huckabee says, “I’ve always been inspired by the scripture James 2:18, ‘Show me your faith without works and I’ll show you my faith by my works.’ We know that our faith must be alive in our hearts, active and lived out. When it comes to being people of faith we must be fully committed. That’s why I’ve partnered with an incredible organization, ALL IN for an amazing day of national service: Do Good on Good Friday. We all know the greatest act of love, kindness and servanthood happened on Good Friday more than 2,000 years ago. This year on Good Friday we are calling for ALL Christians to do one kind act, one good thing on Good Friday.” – Gov Mike Huckabee on All In in Dec 2014
2016: EveryChurch Initiative – We began using our mobile platform to build apps for 25 churches and ministries across the country in 2016. Content partnerships with some of the largest ministries in America such as CRU, Alpha, CV, Reasons to Believe, CBN, and others allowed us to deliver “all in” content to believers daily through their church or ministries mobile app. God presented us with an opportunity in early 2016 to begin building apps for persecuted churches and showed us how that work aligned with our mission – the persecuted church needs our resources and we need their faith. We have since facilitated partnerships between persecuted churches and western churches to provide technology and content to churches across 20 campuses in the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Syria, Ukraine, Nigeria, the Netherlands, and the Republic of Congo. We believe the prayers of the persecuted church and the stories of what God is doing among them is critical to the awakening of the American church.
2017: needserv – Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in August of 2017 and provided opportunity for us to deploy a team to serve the area. Our team initially helped by mucking-out houses as well as providing meals and medical supplies, but two things quickly became apparent to us:
God blessed us with the vision to quickly setup a platform to gather needs and then facilitate those needs being met by others wanting to help. We were able to serve hundreds of families through the disaster and we believe that was only the beginning of what God is going to do with needserv.
Upon graduation from LSU in 2000, Michael started an IT consulting firm and within twelve months merged with another local firm to form Sparkhound, a Louisiana-based IT services company. As an owner/partner and COO, Michael helped Sparkhound achieve 250 percent growth between 2008 and 2012 and positioned the company among the most respected and fasting growing IT consulting firms in the country with more than 230 team members and nearly 30 million in annual revenues.
Michael left Sparkhound to launch the ALL IN MOVEMENT in 2013 after more than 15 years in the IT industry. On the night of June 29, 2012, God called Michael “all in” and gave him a mission to reignite the hearts of an apathetic American Church. The very next day, the Lord had Michael give his truck away to a stranger in a donut store parking lot and his “all in” journey officially began. Michael works with faith-leaders and organizations across America to re-ignite and refresh the hearts of God’s people through his testimony and the anointing that God has placed upon his life.

Bob overcame tremendous personal challenges in his early life. His childhood was dark; he was physically abused as a child, was an alcoholic by 14, and a criminal, homeless drug addict at 17. He reached the point where he felt that suicide was his only viable option but then a horrific car accident and a chance encounter with a merciful nurse helped change his life.
During his long recovery he read the Bible in an effort to disprove it, but instead found faith in God and along with it personal redemption and hope through Jesus Christ. Bob founded a powerful national ministry called the Jesus Alliance after receiving God’s call to work towards uniting the church and being a part of fulfilling the Great Commission.
